Tickets must be bought beforehand to do the Petronas Towers tour and can be obtained starting 8:30am every morning. People turn up and queue so they can get the early tours or specify the time / day, but this is not necessary. You can buy tickets at any time during the day for tours that day or following days. There are a limited number of tickets that are available during one day. Only 1700 hundred people per day are allowed to visit the landmark.
