New Zealand’s Hobbiton has got much fanfare over the years because it’s the movie set of The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit movies. Malaysian fans will now be delighted to know that they don’t have to fly all the way to New Zealand to catch a glimpse of the famous Hobbit village, as we have our very own version right here in Kundasang, Sabah.

Come night-time, you can head out to the rock garden and whip up a barbecue feast as they have a bonfire pit there that’s perfect for the weather. It can get cold in Kundasang at night, with temperatures dropping to 12°C sometimes, so you can imagine how blissful it’ll be to bundle up by the fire, roast some marshmallows, and keep warm with a hot drink in hand.
