The Putrajaya Lake Recreational Centre is a public recreational park in Putrajaya. It is located on the north side of the city, off Persiaran Persekutuan. Pusat Rekreasi Air is a place for the public to enjoy various water recreational activities. Among the activities including boating and angling. There are canoes available for rent here.
Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the lake on foot, rent a bicycle, or take a boat ride around the lake. It is a popular jogging and picnic spot for locals staying nearby, most of whom are civil servants working in Putrajaya. From time to time, you might even have a chance to watch some water sports activities like water surfing, jet skiing, boat races and many others.
Putrajaya Lake is also a popular venue for major international and local sporting events. Among them are the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, F1 Powerboat Championship, Asian Canoeing Championship and the recent SEA Games.
Sprawling over 400ha, the serene Lake Putrajaya is one of the most prominent attractions in this city. The lake covers about 13% of the total land area, which stretches over 4,931ha. Lake Putrajaya was created to enhance Putrajaya?s aesthetic appeal. It also serves as a climate moderator. Putrajaya Lake Cruises are highly popular as they offer a chance to view the attractions around Putrajaya from an interesting and different perspective.
